Be aware of shorebirds, as dogs tend to be reactive to this vital species.

Many of the local beaches and trails allow dogs to roam off-leash, giving them the freedom to explore the sand, surf, and forest just as much as you do. It’s the perfect place for morning beach walks, sunset strolls, and endless tail-wagging adventures.

There is an off leash dog leash park in Ucluelet.
