Tofino from the water is a different experience compared to the land. Where do you think we got the nickname Canada’s Hawaii? We got on a trip with 4 of us and Lochie and had a blast. The charter was comfortable and we all came home with Salmon.
Having the chance to bring home Salmon, Lingcod, Halibut and Crab is amazing. Being on the open water with friends is a trip you will never forget.
Half day trips or the whole day. Wondering about the ride? The boat has a bathroom on board, is partially covered and led by a local guide. We had Lochie, the owner of the company and a personal friend. The stoke was high!

Looking for transportation in Tofino? In the popular summer months, it can be hard to find parking in our small downtown core and starting in 2023 , parking became paid. To save on costs, frustration and carbon polution - use transit! Please follow the links to look for active schedules and information. Currently Whistle ride share is down.
BUDGET CAR RENTAL TOFINO AIRPORT
Book ahead and reserve. Located at the Tofino Airport. Super handy if you want to drop it off at the ferry for example.
The Tofino Free Shuttle is a summer service between Tofino’s Village core and Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Riders can hop on and off at any stop along the route. The Tofino Shuttle has operated since 2009 and has been free of charge since 2014. The service is funded primarily by Tofino’s participation in the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) program with additional support from pay parking revenue and Tourism Tofino. A 2024 route stop & schedule will be posted once available. Usually June - Sept long weekend.
ISLAND CONNECTOR
Island Connector provides transportation between Tofino, Ucluelet and Port Alberni.
Tikicab Transportation
A 20 seat shuttle bus that is perfect for larger groups or events. Book ahead.
Tofino Bus
Island Express provides transportation to Tofino, Ucluelet and Port Alberni from Parksville, Nanaimo, Vancouver and Victoria.
West Coast Transit
The Alberni Clayoquot Regional District is providing the West Coast Transit service connecting Tofino to Esowista, Ty-Histanis, Ucluelet, and hitac̓u. Two buses will be in service on weekdays; one on weekends, making 31 stops along the route. Service will begin at 06:30 AM (weekdays) & 7 AM (weekends), with the last trip ending around 7 PM.
Tofino Taxi
There is no website for Tofino Taxi; just call and hope for the best! There is only one car on the road as far as we know. 250-725-3333
